My family traveled a lot when I was a kid. We would sometimes eat at buffet restaurants while traveling, particularly Shoney's. I don't think many of them are still around, but I do remember that they had a strawberry fluff on their salad bar that was super yummy. Fluff is a staple at buffets, old-fashioned potlucks, and in homes where people like cool, creamy vintage recipes. This is a bit of a mish-mash of recipes, but combines the best of the steps.
Ingredients: Jell-O (flavor of your choice), cream cheese, whipped topping, crushed pineapple
Step 1: Mix cream cheese and Jell-O together. Step 2: Add crushed pineapple and mix well. Step 3: Stir in whipped topping until well mixed. Step 4: Refrigerate until served. NOTE: You can pour this into a mold if desired. You can also add nuts, cherries, etc. to the mixture if you wish.
